Crochet hook: N 15 / 10 mm

The pattern is multiples of 5; however, you need even number of stitches. As such, if you use 15, 25, 35, 45, etc. add 1 chain to get to even number.

Start with Chain 35+1

Connect the chain into a circle: bring ends together making sure the chain is not twisted.

To join the chain into a circle with a slip stitch: insert the hook into the first chain, yarn over, and pull the yarn through the first and through the last chain. (Make sure the chain is not twisted as you will not be able to untwist it).

Once a circle is make, try it on to see if it is not too small or too big. If you feel you need a smaller or large size, adjust accordingly. Use multiples of 5; however, you need the even number of stitches. As such, if you use 15, 25, 35, 45, etc. add 1 chain to get to even number.

Round 1: ch 2, dc in each chain around, join with sl st into 2ch st (36dc, counting 2ch as a dc),

Round 2: ch 2, *1fpdc, 1bpdc* repeat around, join with sl st into 2ch st (36, counting 2ch as a stitch)
