Ribbed Knit Scarf
As the winter and cold season is quickly approaching, this ribbed knit scarf will be the best scarf to keep you warm all winter long. I am using 20% wool 80% acrylic super bulky Lion Brand Thick & Quick yarn to knit this scarf. I love the wool yarns. The wool yarn is the best to keep you warm in the winter.
It is super easy to knit this scarf and the pattern is only one row repeat! Also, please follow the directions how to start each row to get very nice straight edging.
To knit this ribbed scarf I was using super bulky, weight 6 yarn. I also have the ribbed crochet scarf using the same yarn YouTube video here.
I was using this simple ribbed knit pattern to knit this scarf. The pattern is super easy and any beginner can knit this scarf using this pattern. All you are using to knit this ribbed long scarf is the knit stiches. To get the nice even edging for the scarf I slide the first stitch of each row to another needle without knitting the first stitch and I start each row by knitting the second stitch.
The finished scarf is 81 inches long (almost 7 feet!) and it is 9.5 inches wide. For this ribbed scarf I used 4 skeins of super bulky, weight 6 yarn. One skein is 6 ounces, 170 grams, 106 yards, 97 meters.
