This crochet top Katrina is one of my new favorites. I love designing new patterns! The written pattern with the instructions how to crochet this top and with a lot of pictures in printable pdf is available to purchase here. The written Crop Top Katrina pattern is also available at the end of this post.

The written patter is available in sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 (extra small, small, medium and large).

The flowers motive is so beautiful and I already know my next few projects where I will use these flowers. This always happens to me :). As I work on my projects I already have a few ideas how I will crochet the other projects using a similar pattern.

Size 6 – 7 rows

Size 8 – 8 rows

Size 10 – 10 rows

Size 12 – 10 rows

Size 14  – 12 rows

*************************************************************************************

After you have the number of the rows for your size, work on completing one side. The below instructions are for all sizes.

Row 1: dc in each dc except the last 3 dc (should have 3 dc before 2 chain), crochet 3 dc tog (these are 3 dc before 2 chain); 3 ch, turn

Row 2: crochet first 3dc tog, dc in each dc across;

Continue repeating Row 1 and Row 2 decreasing the stitches until you have 1 stitch, do not fasten off.

Chain 81 for the strap, then skip 1 chain and work sl st into each chain. You can make a longer chain if you want it wrapped around your belly. Fasten off.

Once finished start working on another side.

Row 1. Start from the very bottom of the row, inset the hook into the first dc (1st dc after the 2 chain space) and make 3 ch, 3dc tog, dc in each dc across, 2 ch, turn

Row 2: dc in each dc across, last 3dc tog, 3 ch, turn,

Row 3: 3 ch, 3dc tog, dc in each dc across, 2 ch, turn,

Continue repeating Row 2 and Row 3 decreasing the stitches until you have 1 stitch. Chain 81 for the strap then skip 1 chain and sl st into each chain. These straps will tie in the back. Crochet more chains if you made the first strap longer. Do not fasten off but continue crocheting with the same yarn the picot stitch around until reach the top.

To crochet picot: 3 sc, *ch 3, sl st inserting the hook under sc stitch’s 2 strands, 3 sc* repeat until you reach top and crochet chain for the neck strap. When crocheting picot stitch in each row crochet 2 sc, and in each chain space crochet 3 sc.

At the top once the firts 4 ch space is complete (before tr st) chain 101 for the strap. Then insert into 2nd ch from hook and make sl st, come back through the chain with sl st’s.

Once the strap is complete, continue with sc and picot st to the other side of a halter top.

On the other side, before tr st, chain 101 and come back with sl st’s and continue with picot st around. Fasten off once complete.

Finishing: With yarn needle, weave in all loose ends.
