This crochet Star stitch is super easy and beginners friendly to crochet. This lace is elegant and go with just about anything. The crochet Star stitch is beautiful and it is only two rows repeat! This crochet Star stitch is easy for any beginners to crochet.

To crochet this star stitch I was using lace yarn and G6 / 4mm crochet hook.

Pattern Instructions

The pattern is multiples of 5 plus 3 additional stitches.

Crochet hook G6 4mm

Make a slip knot and crochet chain multiples of 5 plus 3.

Once you have the chain, skip 7 chains from the hook and crochet a triple crochet stitch in the 8th chain. Skip 4 chains and crochet a triple crochet stitch into the 5th stitch. Make 3 chains and a triple crochet stitch into the same chain. Repeat by skipping 4 chains and crocheting a triple crochet stitch into the 5th, then crocheting 3 chains and a triple crochet stitch in the same chain.

Start Row 2 with 4 chains, then crochet a triple crochet stitch in the previous row’s triple crochet stitch. Make 3 chains and a triple crochet stitch into the same stitch. Repeat by crocheting a triple crochet stitch in the previous row’s triple crochet stitch, chain 3 and a triple crochet in the same stitch.

Finish the second row with a triple crochet stitch in the 4th chain.

Crochet the row 3 of this star stitch the same way as the first row. Start the row 3 with 8 chains then crochet a triple crochet in the previous row’s first triple crochet stitch. Then skip a stitch and skip the 3 chains. In the previous row’s triple crochet stitch crochet a triple crochet, chain 3 and a triple crochet stitch. Continue the 3rd row by skipping a stitch and the 3 chains, and in the previous row’s triple crochet stitch crocheting a triple crochet, chain 3 and a triple crochet stitch.

Continue crocheting this star stitch pattern by repeating the row 2 and row 3 as needed.

Super easy and only a few rows repeat and the pattern is gorgeous!
